Moving day doesn’t have to feel like a mountain to climb. Whether you’re shifting a single sofa across town or relocating an entire office, Lions Moves exist to make that process calm, quick, and genuinely stress-free. We’re a team that shows up on time, handles your belongings like they’re our own, and gets the job done without the drama.
If you’ve been searching for a way to book same day removals, you’re in the right place — our vans and crews are ready to move today, not next week.
Goods-in-transit & public liability
Lions Moves started with a simple idea: moving shouldn’t require a second mortgage or a week off work to plan. Today, we’re known as a professional man and van London team that blends the flexibility of a small, agile crew with the reliability of a full-scale removals company.
Our house movers are trained, background-checked, and genuinely good at what they do. We’re not a faceless call center; we’re a local team that shows up, communicates clearly, and treats your belongings like they matter – because they do.
When you hire man and van support from Lions Moves, you’re not just getting a driver with a vehicle. Here’s what’s covered:
There are no hidden extras and no vague pricing. When you request a man and van quote, the figure we give you is the figure you pay.
We assess your belongings, distance, and access points to give you an accurate house removal costs estimate – no vague guessing, no surprise charges later.
We map out packing timelines, vehicle size, and crew requirements based on your specific move.
Our team arrives on time and packs efficiently, labelling boxes by room so unpacking is painless.
Your furniture removals are handled with proper equipment – trolleys, straps, and protective wrapping – to avoid damage during transit.
We unload, place furniture where you want it, and clear away packaging if requested.
There’s no shortage of removal options out there, so here’s why so many customers call us their trusted man and van:
We’re fast when it matters. Life doesn’t always give notice, which is why we offer a genuine last minute man and van service for tenancy deadlines, sudden relocations, or forgotten items that need moving urgently.
We’re upfront about cost. Nobody enjoys surprise invoices. As an affordable man and van provider, we quote clearly and stick to it.
We’re always nearby. Search man and van near me and you’ll likely find a Lions Moves crew closer than you’d expect, ready to respond quickly.
We handle emergencies. Burst pipe, sudden eviction, or an unplanned move? Our emergency man and van team can mobilise within hours.
We’re rated for a reason. Customers consistently describe us as the best man and van option in their area, and we work hard to keep that reputation.
Lions Moves handles a huge range of moves, including:
If your business needs a commercial man and van partner that understands deadlines and minimal disruption, our team plans around your working hours — including evenings and weekends when needed.
“They packed our entire three-bedroom house in a single day and nothing was damaged. Genuinely impressed with how organised the team was.”
“We needed cheap house removals on short notice and they still turned up on time with a proper plan. I highly recommend it.”
“The best decision we made was hiring professional house movers instead of doing it ourselves. Saved us so much stress.”
Lions Moves operates with full goods-in-transit insurance, public liability cover, and trained, background-checked movers. We follow safe manual handling practices and maintain our vehicles to a high standard, so every move — residential or commercial man and van — is carried out safely and professionally.
Prices vary by distance, volume, and access, but most local moves range from a modest hourly rate to a fixed day rate — we'll confirm exact costs upfront.
