Moving out of a flat is exciting, but packing boxes at midnight while worrying about a hired van is not. That’s where Lions Movers come in. We provide honest, reliable flat removal services built around real moving day problems – tight staircases, narrow lifts, parking restrictions, and moving dates that never seem to leave enough time.
Whether you’re a student clearing out a shared flat at the end of term, a young professional relocating for a new job, or a family shifting between rented apartments, our professional flat movers handle every box, wardrobe, and awkward corner with care. Get a flat moving quote online in minutes and let us take the moving day off your plate.
Goods-in-transit & public liability
Lions Movers started with a simple idea: flat moves shouldn’t cost as much or take as long as house moves. Flats come with their own challenges – shared entrances, limited parking, buzzer systems, and building management rules – and generic removal companies often don’t plan around them.
We built our service specifically as apartment removal services, meaning our teams already understand how to navigate stairwells, service lifts, and tight loading bays without wasting your time or risking your belongings. From studio flat removals to larger multi-bedroom moves, we scale our team and vehicle size to match your actual load, not a one-size-fits-all estimate.
We also work closely with students and shared-house tenants, since end-of-tenancy moves often happen on the same weekend as hundreds of other renters. Booking early with local flat removals specialists means you avoid the last-minute scramble that traps so many movers in June and September.
Every booking is built around clarity — no vague estimates, no surprise charges.
If you’d rather not touch a single box, our flat removals with packing service covers everything from wrapping crockery to labelling boxes room by room, so unpacking at the other end is simple.
Tell us your flat size, floor level, and moving date. Most quotes are ready within the hour.
We lock in your date, van size, and crew – no double bookings, no guessing games.
Our team arrives ahead of moving day to pack fragile and bulky items securely.
Furniture is wrapped, loaded, and transported directly to your new flat with careful handling throughout.
We place furniture where you want it and reassemble beds and units before we leave.
Choosing between removal companies usually comes down to trust, price, and communication – we focus on all three.
Customers consistently tell us we’re among the best flat removal company London options they compared, not because we’re the cheapest on paper, but because nothing gets damaged, delayed, or forgotten.
No two flats look the same, so our vans and crews are matched to your specific move:
Awkward items like flat-pack wardrobes, mattresses, and washing machines are handled with the right equipment, not guesswork.
“They packed our entire three-bedroom house in a single day and nothing was damaged. Genuinely impressed with how organised the team was.”
“We needed cheap house removals on short notice and they still turned up on time with a proper plan. I highly recommend it.”
“The best decision we made was hiring professional house movers instead of doing it ourselves. Saved us so much stress.”
Most one or two bedroom flat moves take between 3–6 hours, depending on floor level, lift access, and how much packing is needed.
Yes, subject to availability. Contact us early in the day and we'll confirm a crew and van as quickly as possible.
Studio and one bedroom flats usually need a medium van, while two bedroom flats often require a larger long-wheelbase van.
Two movers suit most studio and one bedroom flats; larger two bedroom moves usually need three for speed and safety.
Loading, transport, unloading, furniture protection, and basic disassembly are standard. Packing and materials are optional add-ons.
Ready to move without the usual stress? Lions Movers offers fast, friendly, and affordable moving support tailored to flats and apartments of every size.
